We are a Canadian company located in Eden, Ontario and have developed the best hands-free fishing rod holder you will find on the market, the "Fishermans Pal", for fishermen and fisher girls who enjoy fishing from the shore.

Being an avid fisherman myself of 45 years I have tried and tested many different methods to support my fishing pole. For example, a stick shaped in a “Y”, leaned against a rock, log or a tackle box, all of which would damage the finish on my fishing pole. I also have tried rod holders, some home made and some store bought; and have found that many had one or more flaws in their designs.  Some needed nuts and bolts to assemble, or took too long to put together, while none of them would fit in a tackle box.

Since I was not able to find a rod holder that would meet certain criteria such as quick and easy assembly, light in weight, durable, and easy to fit in a tackle box, I came up with my own design.  After a few years of tinkering, I came up with the Fishermans Pal fishing rod holder. It is a two-piece unit made of a high impact plastic and galvanized steel legs which can be assembled in a few seconds and it fits easily into a tackle box.  I’m very proud of this rod holder because it is made using the best material and with a simple yet effective design, which will give the fisherman or fishergirl years of use. The Fishermans Pal offers the following features:

2. There are no nuts or bolts to lose, the rod holder just snaps together instantly.
